He said "absolutely!" and even warned me to look closely for dents/holes where any sort of break of the boxing was visible in case something stabbed through but assured me that nothing on the truck today came remotely close to the TV. He said I had to sign and I told him I wanted to inspect the entire box before signing anything. It was one guy, I helped him lift the TV to my door. I had to sign the release of the order to confirm delivery. I bought a TV last year and the courier scheduled a specific date and time I'd be home. Why did they accept the order before inspecting the box etc? Did they not check the bottom or what? Can you explain that scenario? Like the doods just dropped off the TV and they signed it? It was dropped off at the the door? Typically TVs are SCHEDULED delivered by hand on trucks with delivery person(s) bringing the unit to the door with the customer present and signature to follow. I realize this has moved on but this is a good lesson for others. How the fuck do they have a BBB rating of A+ with all the negative reviews they have? They can't give them the same price for the TV ($1079 + Tax) at least up front, instead paying full non-christmas season price and get a refund "some time later". My dad called Samsung and Samsung claims they will have to buy the TV again. They opened the box and there is a huge crack going through the whole TV. The TV box had a huge gaping hole on the bottom. Several calls several weeks later they finally got the TV delivered. It was like they didn't want to deliver it. My dad kept calling the company trying to track down the TV. At one point it was sitting in one area for more than a week. It shipped well before Christmas, but still hadn't been delivered by January. The company delivering it was a freight service I've never heard of called AGS, Associated Global Systems. I coaxed my parents to get the KS8000 over the cheaper Samsung TV. Mid early December my parents bought a Samsung KS8000 with my assistance using EPP.
